How to get there:
We wil start at the car park at Tibbie Shiels at NT 24057 20541
The Walk
The Wiss is a curiously named hill and is small by Scottish standards (598 mtr). this walk starts beside Glen Cafe, passes Tibbie Shiels Inn ( sorry, but we will stop on the way back, I promise) and then up the hill along grassy, heathery ground to The Wiss. Along the edge of the forest we will walk north to the northern edge of the Loch before walking back along a good path, part of the Southern Upland Way back to the Tibbie Shiels Inn for a well deserved refreshment
