How to get there:

We will park at the Abbey St Bathans car park near the river.

The Walk

Cross the bridge or wade through the fort to the other side of the river and follow the Southern Upland Way to the NW.
After 600 mtrs cross the bridge to the SW, cross the road and follow the path. Turn left up the hill at the gate.
After one km go through the gate and walk downhill through the field towards the road visible below.
Turn right on the road and after 200 mtrs go through a disused gate and alk towards a little bridge over the stream and turn left to another little bridge.
Turn right and folow the fied boundary up the hill to a couple of gates.
Turn right up a good path until level with the Cockburn Law cairn visible on your left. Walk up the hill along a sheep track to the cairn.
From the cairn walk in a NE direction to the signposts for the Edin's Hall fort & broch. Visit the broch and come back the the sign post and walk along the path NNE to the road.
Follow the road back to the Abbey St Bathans car park.
